Trade Realm without getting swapped

Unlock at 10 species, read the word Species on the offer, and never split one deal into a trust trade.

Unlock and request

Trading only works in the Trade Realm. The Realms button is on the bottom left of the main menu. New accounts cannot enter until they own at least 10 species. Species from play, missions, and gachas all count. A stored trial of a species you do not own does not replace that requirement.

Walk up to a player and press E, or use the green Trade button and send a request. Both players add offers, both press Accept, and the trade completes after 5 seconds. Adding an item, cancelling, leaving, or crashing aborts it. Watch the window for the whole 5 seconds.

Species versus slot

A species shows the word Species beside the name, for example Buukon Species. A stored trial has a light background and a magnifying glass. The glass shows age, gender, diet, mutations, cosmetics, and Death Points. Palette and material customizations travel with the slot. Death Points travel with the slot. Female trials can be traded only if the sender owns the species, except Novus Warden, where both players must own it.

Shooms have their own field and do not use an item slot. The most you can offer in one trade is 500,000 Shooms. Items and species can stack, up to 150 per slot. Stored slots do not stack.

The old caps were 9,000 Shooms and then 36,000, with a 25-item stack. Videos from 2021 that teach those numbers are historical.

Stalls, auctions, drop chest

A stall costs 25 Shooms at an empty plot and starts with 4 listing slots. You can hold one stall. Listed items cannot be used or traded elsewhere until you remove them. The buy side and the sell side of someone else's stall are different. Read whether they are buying your creature for a tiny price or selling one to you.

Auctions sell one trial at a time. Minimum starting bid is 100 Shooms. The default run is 30 seconds. The first bid sets the timer to 60 seconds. A bid under 15 seconds returns the timer to 15. You need an empty trial slot to bid. Paying Robux can jump the queue; the listed fee is 49 Robux.

The drop chest takes donations. Pulling the lever costs 200 Shooms and starts a drop party. Unclaimed items go back to the chest.

The realm rules shown on entry are: do not scam, follow Roblox rules, and do not cross-trade.

Refusals that prevent the common scams

  • Do not accept a trust trade. Anything over 500,000 Shooms, or more stacks than the slots allow, is how a second transaction gets skipped.
  • If the accept state clears because they edited the offer, read every slot again. The swapped item is often a slot wearing the species name you wanted.
  • Do not spin a wheel for a prize inside a trade.
  • Do not believe that a species will never return unless the developers said so. The usual rule players are given is that species come back.
  • Role-limited species can be traded only by the role that owns that permission. A title in chat is not proof. Role holders can display an in-game title.
  • Do not open a link from a trader. Search the username yourself.
  • Values are not an official price list. A herbivore-gacha species is easier to replace than an event species. Ask in the official Discord before a large trade, and record the other player's username and id.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What should a new player do first?

Finish the Mylo tutorial, choose Kaluaka or Sochuri if you want a free omnivore, sniff for food and water, and complete one short loop before you fight. Open the creature card with K and learn that creature's diet.

Are there working Creatures of Sonaria codes?

The redeem window is in the menu, but no code was confirmed active in late September or early October 2026. COSYEAR5 and COSYEAR6 are expired. Treat any page that still calls them active as out of date.

How do I earn Shooms?

A living creature earns 5 Shooms every 2 minutes, which is 150 Shooms an hour if it never dies. Each completed region mission adds 4 Shooms. Shoom piles, some death rewards, and trades are other sources. Players often call Shooms mush because of the old beta name and chat filters.

When does Trade Realm unlock?

You need at least 10 owned species. Open Realms from the main menu. Trading does not work in the survival world. A species and a stored trial slot are different trade items.

What happens when my creature dies?

You return to the menu and can revive, restart, or delete the slot. Revive keeps age and mutations but not Death Points, and it costs a Revive Token. Restart wipes the slot. If you do not own the species, restart costs the male trial price, or ten times that for a female. Storage slots lock for two minutes after death.

What is Elder?

At age 100 you can choose to Elder. The age bar then counts toward 200 and turns purple. At 200 you can Venerate. A Max Growth Token sets age to 100 and cannot age a creature to 200.
